Danielle Duer is a Nashville, Tennessee-based Fine Art Painter and Pattern Designer known for her bold, feminine works of art. Duer’s work inspires contemplation and motivation through her colorful narratives and lavish atmospheres, to urge the viewer to author and celebrate their own beautiful, meaningful lives. Her work as an artist began as a child. Her grandmother worked in a marker factory and gave her the rejects the factory was unable to sell. Throughout a very difficult childhood, drawing and pattern-making became her way of seeing what to expect next, to control life, to have a voice and to share herself safely. Over the following two decades, she developed a signature style. From lush florals to powerful women, Duer’s work held symbolic intentions to encourage hope and healing. Women especially have been buying her art as a symbol of courage and determination and commissioning her to tell their stories through her lens. She received her degree in Commercial Art, padding her fine art career with design skills. She opened a Studio Gallery to the public and gained a mighty group of supporters that have been encouraging her ever since. She has received an award from the mayor for her contribution to her native Nashville’s Arts and Culture.
Today, Danielle divides her work evenly between Pattern-Design and Fine Art and can be found on home furnishings, throughout commercial and residential interior design projects, on textiles, products and in homes of special patrons and clients all over the world. Her message of strength and love are evident in every project.
